Dear allies, soldiers and friends,
This has been a long year and a difficult year, adjusting to the pandemic has not always been easy. But we have been able to maintain our readdiness and keep on training together on excercises.
Thanks to our resolve, the pandemic has not weakened our capacity to protect the nearly billion people of the NATO alliance.
You have shown that our unity and strength is able to overcome all challenges we might face.
And finally we are getting ready to also overcome the virus.
On behalf of all Estonians, I want to thank you for your role in keeping Estonia safe and contributing to the deterrence and strength of NATO’s eastern flank.
I wish all the allied soldiers in Estonia and their loved ones happy holidays and a happy new year.
